INNOVA5 E-learning plataform has an efficient user and contents administration system.
All personnel involved in the institutional website management will not have problems, the reason is because our plataform is hosted in a dedicated web server that is permanently checked (24/7) directly by us. With this action, we can assure that plataform will be available in 99.999% of the times. Besides, all course information is daily replicated so probabilities about losing information are almost null.
Because of its design, friendly and simple, INNOVA5 let users learn about INNOVA5 plataform navigation and functionalities in a very short time. We can assure that the learning curve of plataform is minimum.
General characteristics
All courses can be hosted either on INNOVA5 plataform Web Server or in the Institutional Web Server. The plataform handles two course types:
- All courses developed directly by the Institution (can be hosted either on INNOVA5 Server or Institutional Web Server): This type of courses has the characteristic of complete online navigation and are configurables on administrative module. Lecturers can only activate/deactivate the sequential mode of the course (activation dates for each theme that is part of the course).
- All courses developed directly by lecturers (can be hosted only on INNOVA5 Server): Lecturer has the function of attach or delete each one of the documents that are part of the course and activate/deactivate the sequential mode of the course.
Thanks to its modules, the Institutional webmaster will not have to spend time configuring the plataform, that is because INNOVA5 E-learning plataform is delivered ready to use.
Technology
INNOVA5 E-learning plataform has been developed under ASP VBScript languaje with the aid of javascript and java technology. The RDBMS is MS SQL Server 2000/2005 and runs under Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 6) with Microsoft Internet Information Services 6+.
The lecturer, student and administrative login access is done under a SSL encrypted connection (https:// protocol) and it guarantees the confidenciality of login information for all users. The next image shows the INNOVA5 plataform architecture:
